This is my place to share what I'm motivated by and to chat about the things I find unique about out 'fiber arts' community..
I hope to have sections in here for book reviews, who I find engaging and inspirational, perhaps some techniques, and maybe even some thought provoking essays.

I created this photo long before COVID, and the phrase that kept running around in my head was: "Beware the apocalypse knitter!"
Now that COVID has changed so much of our life, I look at this and think, maybe that wasn't that far 'off the mark'...
How do we satisfy our need to participate, and for our need of community, while not REALLY being able to get together and share (in person) those things that bring us together?
Many, many years ago... gosh, I guess I was in my 20's... I had this thought or belief that we (as a species) were all part of a tapestry. We were like Threads that interlaced with each other, rotated and touched other threads. Those 'threads' then connected to yet more, and so on. And that, just the fact, of 'being interwoven' made our (the world's) tapestry strong and beautiful.
I'm hoping that this blog will be able to emulate that vision; of all of us touching, making connections with others. And that will (in a small way) minimize this distance and separation that we feel.
